Join us on a large, calm and very beautiful local lake for a great location to hire our SUPs. Perfect for beginners, as the conditions are usually very still and in summer the water is warm. We provide all equipment, including life vests, and some useful simple instructions to get you underway. You can easily explore around the margins of the lake, in shallow waters close to the shore and to swimming platforms, until you gain your confidence to go further. We have boards suitable for various family members, so you can go out in a group, or of course singly. In addition, we have two of the very special ‘Mega SUP’ boards, which are designed for around 6-8 persons, and are fantastic for families, for groups of friends, team building events and stag/hen parties. Of course, life vests, paddles and instructions are all given on-site so that you have a rewarding, safe and very enjoyable experience. Book an SUP activity break with us, which includes daily sessions on the water and instruction, if required. There is also the local beach at Ystad which can make for a different SUP adventure, and you can enjoy fantastic late evening sunset expeditions or more challenging days when the sea is not so calm. Hiking

Hiking – along coastal path, river valley, or a combined lake & forest trail – can guarantee a wonderful experience, whichever route you choose. With a minimum of 2 hours, tailored to your wishes, to suit abilities and ages, fully guided by a local knowledgeable guide who will help you to see the many points of interest.

Seasonal lunch included, made by ourselves at Red Bird Farm and served out to you en route or at one of our carefully selected locations where local producers provide exceptionally high quality foods in a fantastic setting amongst nature.

Water Cycling

Water Cycling is very easy, safe and is suitable for all ages (with minimum height requirements) and needs no lessons or special clothing, though perhaps your shoes may get a little splashed! Lifejackets are provided, for your safety and insurance purposes.

The guided activity will allow you two hours on local large & scenic lakes where you will get to see little islands, lakeside properties and all the birds and creatures that the lake is home to.

Cycle Tour Fyledalen Nature

It’s an opportunity to enjoy the fabulous countryside and connect with the nature around the Fyledalen Nature reserve, full of birds of prey, herds of deer and stags with sightings of wild pigs.

The routes take you alongside the river valley, with some woodland climbs and easy roads through quiet Swedish villages where you can grab many photos of churches, traditional old cottages and magnificent grand houses.

This fully guided Cycle Tour is suitable for all ages and abilities as there are many options on trails of various distances and degree of climbs.

Cycle Tour Ales Stenar

Visit one of Sweden’s most enigmatic sights! Cycle along quiet country and coastal roads to the ancient monolithic site dramatically set on the cliffs above the quaint little fishing harbour of Kåseberga. Wallander fans will recognise Ales Stenar as the place where the fictional Swedish detective went to ‘think and contemplate’.

It’s a magical site which makes us think of the timeless history, of people before us who have travelled here over the centuries and connects us in a way that many places just cannot. This is at the heart of this tour – an opportunity to tread in the footsteps of history, yet leaving little impact on the natural Swedish costal landscape. Includes a wonderful lunch, freshly prepared with local produce, in one of the exceptional restaurants in the harbour, looking out across the Baltic sea.

Just a short distance away from Red Bird Farm you will find some of the region’s most attractive bodies of water. One such place is Snogeholm an area of outstanding natural beauty with a stunning lake!

With a guided tour on our Water Cycles you will get to see the lake from a different perspective as you glide effortlessly through the water, skirting around the small islands as fish jump around you and the birds look on inquisitively. Included in this tour is a visit to a fantastic outdoor kitchen for a freshly prepared lunch of homemade soup – a real delight!

Throughout the year this unique experience of a guided lake tour on Water Cycles will be included as an option for our fantastic guided activity breaks for those wishing to connect with nature.
